ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has moved a resolution against the inflammatory speech and anti-Pakistan remarks by party founder Altaf Hussain in the National Assembly today (Friday).
The resolution signed by 22 members of the MQM was submitted by MNA Sheikh Salahuddin in the NA Secretariat.
Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Sajid Ahmed, Waseem Hussain, Salman Khan Baloch, Khawaja Suhail Mansoor, Syed Ali Raza Abidi, Muzammil Qureshi, Iqbal Qadri, Kishwar Zahra, Dr Fozia Hameed, Dr Nighat Shakeel, Saman Jaffri, Sanjay Parwani, Mehboob Alam, Muhammad Kamal, Ali Rashid and Rashid Godil signed the resolution.

“This House condemns in strongest terms the raising of anti-Pakistan slogans and the incendiary and controversial speech of MQM founder Altaf Hussain from London and the subsequent attack on media houses in particular the ARY network,” states the resolution.
“This House condemns every form of crime, violence, terrorism and anti-Pakistan slogans and activities".
The resolution also urges the state institutions to welcome MQM with open heart.
Earlier today, the National Assembly unanimously passed a resolution strongly condemning the controversial statement of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain against Pakistan.
The resolution moved by Minister for Kashmir Affairs Chaudhry Birjees Tahir said the House denounces the violent, criminal and terrorist activities and anti-Pakistan slogans.
