Summary PMD has predicted more rains in the metropolis till Tuesday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Citizens continued to suffer due to roads inundation after intermittent rain in Karachi, reported on Monday.
According to details, the rain has caused main roads including Shahrah-e-Faisal water-logged which is clearly showing local administration’s inefficiency.
The natives are facing immense difficulties in transportation due to severe traffic jam and disrupted usual routine.
No machinery has been called on to extract water from airport and its adjoining areas.
On the other hand, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted more rains in the metropolis till Tuesday. Maximum temperature in the city is expected to be 33 degrees while humidity will be at 81 percent.
Repairing of 150 feeders that got affected by the rain is also underway.
A directive stating to take precautionary measures has also been issued to alarm the provincial government about the worst situation.
