Summary Amanullah Afridi warned Imran Ismail that he shalln't allow the latter to carry on his media address

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Ismail’s press conference on Tuesday was disrupted as Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) worker Amanullah Afridi pushed the PTI leader while he was addressing the media representatives. Afridi raised slogans against PTI and threw away the microphones present on the podium before Ismail as well, reported Dunya News.

The conflict emerged after the six-party alliance refused to accept the results of the elections that took place in Karachi on Wednesday as Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz members accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf of voting for Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) candidate despite the understanding between PTI and PML-N.

PTI leader Imran Ismail stated that the disruption caused by PML-N members was a bad move, adding that PML-N needed to address its internal conflicts.

Earlier, allied parties  chairman Asif Khan and MQM candidate for chairmanship Izharuddin also engaged in a conflict inside the polling station as police officials were forced to intervene to resolve the conflict.

During the elections of Malir DMC, the code of conduct was greatly violated as voters cast their vote while showing it to the polling agent. Sindh Election Commissioner took notice of the issue after it was highlighted by Dunya News and directed the Retiring Officer (RO) to take action.
