Summary Child abduction issue not the way it was being presented, says Punjab law minister

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah stated on Monday that police intelligence agencies and Rangers were involved in carrying out combing operation in Punjab since the last two years, adding that the occurrence of a single unfortunate incident did not mean that target killing was being carried out in the province, reported Dunya News.

While addressing the media outside Punjab Assembly, Rana Sanaullah stated that combing operation was carried out in a community which under suspicion. He said that combing operation in Punjab was ongoing since last two years, further adding that other agencies can also be made part of it.

Rana Sanaullah criticised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and stated that Khan made irresponsible statements. While referring to the issue of child abduction, Punjab law minister said that there were a lot of speculations being made regarding the matter, adding that the situation was not the way it was being presented.

Rana Sanaullah said that four girls belonging to Lahore went missing yesterday whereas investigation revealed later on that they left their home at their own will.
