Summary JI chief demanded to ensure justice to the bereaved family by sentencing the culprits.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Funeral prayers of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) worker who was gunned down near Shah Alami in Lahore have been offered, reported on Sunday.

JI chief Siraj-ul-Haq led the prayers of Yakki Gate resident Mirza Mohammad Tanveer who was the only witnessed of his two brothers’ murder case.

Various political leaders including former Punjab governor Chaudhry Sarwar and opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Mehmood-ur-Rasheed also participated in the last rituals of the slain.

On the occasion, JI chief demanded to ensure justice to the bereaved family by sentencing the culprits.

He also said that government would be responsible if the murderers would not get punished.
