Karachi: MQM's hunger strike unto death enters 4th day

Summary Agha Siraj Durani also paid visit to the camp in order to express solidarity with MQM members

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) hunger strike unto death organised outside Karachi Press Club against the kidnapping of party workers and raids conducted on party offices, entered its fourth day on Saturday, reported Dunya News.

Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durani also paid visit to the camp in order to express solidarity with the MQM members. While addressing the media, Durani stated that he paid visit to the camp in order to cater to the issues faced by MQM.

MQM’s Deputy convener Kanwar Naveed Jamil thanked Durani for expressing solidarity with the party. The party’s medical aid committee was also present at the camp in order to provide medical facilities to the party members observing the strike, such as checking their blood pressure, blood-sugar level and putting drips to those who required.
