Summary Hunger strike to continue till demands get met, MQM leaders say

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) hunger strike unto death organised outside Karachi Press Club against the raids conducted on party offices and arrest of party workers entered its third day on Friday, reported Dunya News.

MQM Rabita Committee’s member Zakir Qureshi was rushed to Jinnah Hospital after his health worsened as a result of the prolonged hunger strike.

MQM’s Ameen-ul-Haq stated that the arrest of party workers and the process of their disappearance should halt now. MQM leaders further said that the demands placed forward by the party were valid, adding that the hunger strike shall continue until the demands do not get met.
