Summary Indian shelling a violation of ceasefire agreement, says Pakistan's Military Operations DG
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Military Operations Director General (DG) on Sunday telephoned his Indian counterpart and protested over shelling at the Line of Control (LoC) by the Indian forces, reported Dunya News.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) department, Indian forces initiated heavy shelling during the night between Saturday and Sunday at Naizapir sector near Rawalakot.
Pakistan army gave a befitting response to the Indian forces over their unannounced aggression which silenced the Indian artillery.
Pakistan’s Military Operations DG contacted his Indian counterpart through the hotline and stated that India’s Border Security Force (BSF) was targeting Pakistani posts and urban population which was a violation of the ceasefire agreement.
