NEW DELHI (Dunya News) - A ceremony in connection with Independence Day was held at Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi today.
High Commissioner Abdul Basit unfurled the national flag and cut the cake.
Addressing the ceremony, he said Pakistan will continue extending political, diplomatic, and moral support to the people of occupied Kashmir for their right to self-determination. He said Pakistan has dedicated this Independence Day to the Kashmiris.
He urged that Kashmiris should be given the right to self-determination as per the resolutions of United Nations (UN).
Abdul Basit also demanded to halt the worst violence in held Kashmir.
An Independence Day celebrations ceremony was also held at the Pakistan embassy in Kabul.
Ambassador Ibrar Hussain hoisted the national flag.
