Summary Ch Nisar responsible for current circumstances that the country faced, says Opposition leader
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly (NA) Syed Khurshid Shah on Friday while commenting upon the press conference of Minister of the Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan stated that the Interior minister was leveling allegations upon others in order to hide his own failures, reported Dunya News.
While exclusively conversing with Dunya News, Shah stated that Nisar was responsible for the current circumstances of the country, further adding that he (Nisar) did not have the moral courage to accept his failure and resign from his post.
Khurshid Shah stated that the Interior minister was leveling allegations at a time when the country was on the verge of destruction and people were losing their lives. “If I was the Interior minister, I would have resigned a long time ago,” stated Shah, further adding that he shall do a detailed discussion on the matter in the parliament on Monday.
On the other hand, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and lawyer of model Ayyan Ali, Latif Khosa, has stated that he shall file a case regarding defamation against Nisar.
Opposition leader also paid visit to the residence of late Pakistani cricketer Hanif Mohammed and condoled the death of the star batsman with his son, Shoaib Mohammed, and prayed for the deceased’s forgiveness.
While conversing with the media later on, Shah stated that the Interior minister was a mental patient and that he shall respond to Nisar’s statements in the National Assembly.
Khurshid Shah stated that he would refrain from passing personal remarks against Nisar, adding that “I would not like to comment upon his (Nisar’s) wig”.
He said that Chaudhry Nisar was a failed Interior minister, further stating that the country would not be going through the current circumstances had Nisar paid more attention towards his work rather than focusing on Ayyan Ali.
Shah clarified that PPP never contacted Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif for the release of Ayyan Ali or Dr Asim, adding that Nisar should enquire about this from the PM himself.
