ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar will address a press conference at around 5:00pm today to clear ministry’s stance on security of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s accountability rally while criticism by Khurshid Shah will also be answered, reported Friday.

Nisar will hold a press conference in Punjab House at 5:00pm in Islamabad.

The Interior Minister will inform about security situation of the country after a suicide blast in Quetta claimed 70 lives and wounded numerous of persons.

Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly, Khurshid Shah, while visiting Balochistan High Court On Thursday declared Quetta blast a proof of failure of National Action Plan and Interior Ministry.

Leader of the Opposition in Senate, Aitzaz Ahsan was accompanying Shah during his visit and also criticised Chaudhry Nisar.

The Interior Minister will talk about security of PTI s anti-government Ehtesaab (accountability) rally after it left for Attock from Peshawar on August 7.

The rally was led by PTI chief Imran Khan who invited Pakistanis to join the movement against the alleged corrupt government.

While talking to participants of anti-government rally in Peshawar, Imran Khan said that every Pakistani wants to eliminate corruption from the country.

He said that major departments have been ‘destroyed’ due to continuous corruption. Rally would continue until accountability of the Prime Minister regarding Panama leaks, he added.

He declared the rally as important and said that the protest would end in Raiwind.

Khan said that under the movement, national institutions including National Accountability Bureau, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and judiciary would be urged to bring the ‘affluent’ and the ‘powerful’ under the rule of law.

The other issue that Nisar is scheduled to address in criticism and questions raised by Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly, Khurshid Shah.
