QUETTA (Dunya News) - Prominent political personalities while condemning Quetta Civil Hospital blast, vowed not to let the terorists succeed in their goal.
President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have strongly denounced the blast.
Deploring the loss of precious lives in the incident, the Prime Minister directed the concerned authorities to maintain utmost vigilance and beef up security for the legal fraternity and members of civil society.
PM Nawaz Sharif said no one will be allowed to disturb peace in the province that has been restored due to countless sacrifices of security forces, police and the people of Balochistan.
The President and the Prime Minister directed for provision of best treatment to those injured in the attack. They prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali has also condemned the Quetta blast.
While conversing with the media, Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani condemned the attacked and stated that foreign elements might be involved in the attack, further adding that investigation in this regards was necessary. He stated that agents related to Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) were arrested in Pakistan in the past, further adding that foreign agents intended to destabilise the country.
Raza Rabbani said that political parties and the public needs to be on one page during such an hour of grief while putting aside their differences.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif strongly decried the attack and expressed sympathy with the bereaved families.

PTI vice-chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi condemned and expressed grief over the incident. While talking to Dunya News he said that such elements are behind this attack who do not wish to see Pakistan progress. He said that it is shocking that a hospital has been targeted and educated people have been killed.

The suicide blast killed atleast 63 people and has injured dozens.
The blast in the Balochistan provincial capital Quetta came after mourners including journalists and lawyers had gathered at the hospital following the fatal shooting of Balochistan Bar Association president Bilal Anwar Kasi.
The blast is the second deadliest in Pakistan this year so far, after a bombing in a crowded park in Lahore over Easter killed 75.
Pakistani hospitals have been targeted by militants previously.
In 2010 a bomb killed 13 people outside the casualty department of a hospital in Karachi in Sindh province, where victims of an earlier attack were being treated as anxious relatives gathered.
