LAHORE (Dunya News) – High-level flood has been recorded in Chenab River at Head Marala point as new spell of rains expected in coming days, reported on Sunday.
According to Flood Forecasting Division, upper parts linking with River Chenab and River Jhelum would receive more downpours after which possible flood is feared.
The adjoining nullahs and small canals will also face flooding due to continuous heavy rain.
The local administration has been directed to take precautionary measures to handle the situation.
