ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s government has vowed to bear expenses of treatment of all Kashmiris suffering of eye injuries due to the use of pellet guns in Indian-held Kashmir by Indian forces to overrule voices seeking right to determination and freedom, reported Saturday.

The Prime Minister has said that the government has decided to have pressure on India increased over Kashmir dispute.

It is a state-run operation in Kashmir which has led to over 68 deaths and left 400 innocent locals wounded, the PM said.

Victims of Indian oppression who lost their eye-sights in violent clashes with aggressors will be treated on expense on the government, he said urging the international organizations concerned with the human rights to help Pakistan provide medical facilities to Kashmiris by using their influence.

Nawaz Sharif said that India was butchering human rights through a state-run military operation.

Indian government led by Narendra Modi is not even allowing medical facilities in occupied valley, the premier said.

He said that Indian forces were targeting ambulances and other vehicles at hospitals used for the purpose. However, he said that Pakistan would continue political, diplomatic and ethical support to the people of Kashmir.

The government would bear expenses of travel, stay and treatment of wounded Kashmiris, he reiterated ordering Ministry of Foreign Affairs to make arrangements for the cause.

The Prime Minister urged Pakistan’s ambassadors, human rights watchdogs and civil societies to pressurize India to end atrocities in Kashmir.

The fresh clashes in Kashmir rose after Burhan Wani, a freedom fighter was killed on July 8.

Pellet guns and teargas shells are the weapons that Indian troops have resorted to since last month along with bullets.
