Sindh CM to meet PM Nawaz in Islamabad

Summary Murad Ali Shah has left for Islamabad.

KARACHI (Web Desk) – Newly-elected Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has left for Islamabad today (Friday) to meet Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Dunya News reported.

He will discuss matters pertaining to the security situation in Sindh and Rangers’ policing powers in the province.

Shah assumed charge as the Chief Minister last month after Qaim Ali Shah was removed from the post by the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leadership.

Before leaving for the federal capital, Murad Ali Shah stopped his car at Shahra-e-Faisal to sign some important documents and files.



He also issued necessary directives to Sindh Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary.

Earlier on Thursday, The Chief Minister chaired a session of secretaries of different departments in Sindh Secretariat.

He was briefed on development projects and schemes underway in different parts of the province.

While addressing the participants, the Chief Minister said that the government would not tolerate below-standard work in any subordinate department

Murad Ali Shah stated that all promotions and transfers would be made on merit. He warned the departments of strict action if progress is not up to the mark.
