Summary Embassy official also met with Zulfiqar's family members, physician
LAHORE (Web Desk, Dunya News) – An official belonging the Pakistani embassy in Indonesia met with Pakistani national Zulfiqar on Monday. The embassy official discussed about the filing of an appeal against the death sentence awarded to Zulfiqar, reported Dunya News.
Photos surfaced related to the Pakistani national incarcerated in Indonesia showed Zulfiqar s utmost delighted upon the turning down of his death sentence. Zulfiqar thanked the government for its role and the media for highlighting his case.
In the 4-hour long meeting held between Zulfiqar and the embassy official, the filing of a review against Zulfiqar’s death sentence was discussed whereas the embassy official also met with Zulfiqar’s family members and his physician.
Pakistan demanded councilor access to Zulfiqar Ali after contacting the office of the Indonesian Attorney General on Friday.
