LAHORE (Dunya News) – All organisations of Punjab teachers on Tuesday have decided to gain government’s attention and announced to commence agitation movement from August 15 through teacher’s council platform, reported Dunya News.
For the first time, teacher unions had taken a firm stand against Punjab government. More than five teachers’ organisations had unanimously announced protest movement against the government in order to press their demands. The organisations will protest against privatisation of government schools, transfer of Danish School authority and teachers’ up gradation.
Earlier, the teachers had staged a protest in May and June, in front of Punjab assembly. In the wake of total arrogance and ignorant attitude by the government, the teachers had decided to unite on one platform and take a firm stand against government.
