Summary Justice sought an explanation over continuous services paid by deputed officers despite court orders

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday issued contempt of court notices to Chief Secretary and officers appointed on deputation in Sindh while Justice Ameer Hani Muslim said that Sindh government was ignorant about law and order, every culprit needed to be imprisoned, reported Dunya News.

Sindh officers’ deputation case was summoned in SC where Justice Ameer revealed that a peon was appointed as Deputy Director and warned that responsible people will be sent to jail.

He also sought an explanation over continuous services paid by deputed officers despite court orders.

Justice Ameer, in his remarks, said that Sindh government was making fun out of the rule and law as anybody who had contacts with higher officials was immune to the very system and its regulations.

He expressed resentment and said that court orders should be thrown away if there was no implementation. Justice Ameer also questioned the possibility of a peon’s appointment and eligibility to hold an 18-grade office.

Secretary Services Usman Chachar should be sent to jail, he added.
