KARACHI (Dunya News) – The higher officials have decided to monitor the behavior of police personnel in police stations by installing advanced CCTV cameras, reported on Wednesday.
The decision was taken after getting complaints from the locals regarding police officers’ brutal behavior with claimants. The CCTV camera would be planted in Station House Officer’s (SHO) room, duty officer room and outside a police station.
The officials said that the cameras would be operated from a separate command and control room while immediate action would be taken against the violators.
Further, a facilitator room would also been established for the general masses to submit their objections.
Moreover, Inspector General Sindh (IG) has approved the plan.
