QUETTA (Dunya News) – Frontier Corps (FC) personnel on Saturday killed a suspect for attacking FC patrolling party in Quetta’s Lakpas area.
According to sources, security officers were patrolling in the area when some unidentified armed man opened firing at FC’s vehicle, retaliating to which the attacker was killed.
The assailant’s body has been shifted to civil hospital for post mortem while investigation into the matter has also been launched.
Officials say more than 3,000 militants have been killed since the launch of the latest offensive in tribal areas of Pakistan.
