Summary No decision had been made by the federal government on Sindh government's application in this regard
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh government on Thursday was yet to make a decision regarding Sindh Rangers special powers of detaining suspects for 90 days and their deployment in Sindh including Karachi. Thursday was the last date of special powers given to Rangers, reported Dunya News.
No decision had been made by the federal government on Sindh government’s application in this regard.
Despite Sindh Governor’s application for extension in Rangers special powers, Interior Ministry in this matter took no initiative as summary was still pending for a month.
