Summary ECP contacted government and showed concern in delay on appointment of members as well
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) contacted government on the issue of appointment of members but they were given a reply that it is not a problem and chief election commissioner is authority, reported Dunya News.
ECP showed concern in delay on appointment of members and told that they could not conduct by-elections without appointment of members.
Government replied that chief election commissioner has authority to keep the proceedings going without appointment of members.
