Summary Information regarding groups involved in collecting extortion be made public, demanded Chandio
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister (CM) on Information Maula Bux Chandio on Monday lauded the bold efforts of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif against terrorism. He said that the government should inform about the steps it was taking against extortion, reported Dunya News.
While addressing the media, Chandio lambasted the federal government and also criticised a number of federal ministers. He stated that Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif was serving at his post only to fulfill the documented requirements.
Chandio criticised Federal Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali without naming him by stating that the very minister was no less than a torment.
He stated that the government should inform about the money that was collected in the form of extortion gets delivered in which country, further enquiring that information regarding the groups involved in collecting extortion also be made public.
