ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Giani and his son Haider Ali Gilani called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi today (Monday).
On the occasion, Ali Gilani told General Raheel Sharif that he is the only person in Pakistan who is feared by the Taliban.

During the meeting, ex-PM Yousaf Raza Gilani discussed issues concerning national security and the success of operation Zarb-e-Azb.
Gilani thanked COAS for his efforts leading towards recovery of his son.
Ali Haider Gilani was rescued in May by a joint force of Afghan and U.S. commandos who attacked a house held by al Qaeda militants in Paktika province, just across the border from Pakistan.
He was abducted on May 9, 2013, outside an office of the Pakistan People‘s Party (PPP) in his home town of Multan, two days before an election.
Ali Haider’s was not the only high-profile abduction in Pakistan in recent years.
Shahbaz Taseer, the son of former Punjab governor Salman Taseer, was kidnapped in 2011. He was recovered in the Pakistani city of Quetta in March this year.
