NEW YORK (Web Desk) - The US Counterterrorism and Intelligence Subcommittee Chairman has announced to hold a dialogue over Pakistan’s role in combating terrorism in coming days, reported on Sunday.

The House would initiate discussion on the topic ‘Pakistan is friend of US in eliminating terrorism or not’. After the debating session, the lawmakers would suggest president Obama to form new policy regarding Pakistan.

The Chairman said that Pakistan is not launching strict action against the terrorists like US and other democratic countries are holding. He said that the participants would talk about the aid which is being given to Pakistan annually.

On the other hand, a Congressman Matt Salmon alleged that Pakistan is still maintaining dual standard, therefore, he said the time has come when the US government should hold check and balance on the aid granted to Pakistan.

He said that some questions would also be raised in front of Obama administration to hit the final conclusion.

The meeting would be attended by all the Congress chairmen and members, former US ambassador in Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad, Defence Analyst Bill Roggio and Assistant Professor in American university Teresa Bacon.
