LAHORE (Dunya New) – Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday has announced to name Lahore’s important road after Abdul Sattar Edhi.
According to details, CM Punjab said that he has always inspired Edhi’s social work and his determination towards serving humanity.
He said that great humanitarian will always be remembered in the memories of people living in entire world.
Shehbaz Sharif said that no one can fill the space left by Abdul Sattar Edhi as he has taught to live for others.
On the other hand, funeral prayers of Edhi have been offered at National Stadium in Karachi after which he will be buried at Edhi village in a grave dug around 25 years ago.
