Summary FBR officials met with Swiss officials to formulate methodology for bringing investment back
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Officials belonging to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) are planning a strategy along with Swiss officials in order to bring investment made in offshore companies back to Pakistan, reported Dunya News.
Sources indicated that Swiss officials proposed ammendments in Pakistani laws in order to bring back investment made in offshore companies back to the country during the meeting held with FBR officials and also presented their guidelines in this regards.
Regulations of Switzerland and Pakistan were overviewed by the officials belonging to both countries. Furthermore, discussion in regards to information sharing and catering of various other complexities was made during the meeting.
Pakistani officials shall brief on Monday Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar regarding the meeting held with the Swiss officials.
