Summary Three terrorists of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan were killed in exchange of fire with police in Karachi
KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least three terrorists of banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed in an encounter with police in Sohrab Goth’s Bara Market on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, police carried out a search operation in Sohrab Goth Bara Market area on a tip-off from intelligence agencies that terrorist are present in the area. The militants present in the area opened fire at the police which was retaliated as a result three terrorists were killed.
According to SSP Malir, Rao Anwaar, the dead terrorists belonged to Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan and were identified as Iqbal and Shah Muhammad.
Rao Anwaar further informed that explosive material, Kalashnikovs and other weapons were recovered from the dead terrorists.
