Summary Lawyers have demanded immediate recovery of Chief Justice's son
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Litigants are facing issues as lawyers have continued boycott of legal proceedings in City Court, Malir court and the high court against Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah’s son, Owais Ali Shah’s abduction, reported Wednesday.
Lawyers had called a strike in different courts including Sindh High Court yesterday in light of the recent kidnapping of Chief Justice’s son.
Prisoners were not shifted to courts today for hearings due to the strike.
Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah’s son was kidnapped Sunday in Clifton after he exited a superstore. Preliminary details of the incidents suggest that kidnappers did a recce and had the required information to execute the plan.
Owais had returned from London months ago after completing his law degree.
Investigators have not got a breakthrough in the case nearly three days after the abduction.
A CCTV footage obtained by Dunya News clearly shows suspects in a white car with SP 0586 number chase him from the high court to the shopping mall in Clifton.
