Summary Petroleum prices to be increased because of increased prices in global market: sources
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prices of petroleum products in the country are expected to increase by Rs 4.50 per litre from July 1, reported Dunya News.
According to Ministry of Petroleum sources, the prices shall experience an increase as a result of the increase in the prices of petroleum products in the global market.
Sources indicate that the price of petrol shall increase by Rs 2.60 per litre, whereas the price of High Speed Diesel shall increase by Rs 3.20 per litre.
The price of Light diesel shall be increased by Rs 1.80 per litre whereas the price of kerosene oil shall rise by Rs 3.50 per litre. The price of high-octane is expected to increase by Rs 4.50 per litre next month.
Price of petroleum in the international market increased by $2 and is now being sold at $49.19 per barrel.
