Summary US state department spokesperson John Kirby says US is not playing mediator's role in issue
WASHINGTON (Dunya News) - The State Department spokesman John Kirby confirmed that United States (US) was not playing mediator s role in Pakistan-Afghanistan border issue, as he was giving media briefing on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
Kirby said that US did not want to see tension between both countries as both were facing different challenges. He said that both countries should find the solution of problem themselves.
Kirby also said that reconciliation process in Afghanistan could not be stopped due to border issue, as he told that supply to US soldiers was not stopped. He said that Torkham border was not the only route for supply of US soldiers.
