Summary Rehman Malik questioned if there was any border in the world without immigration gates
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Rehman Malik on Thursday said that Major Ali Jawad embraced martyrdom and had made the nation proud. He further suggested that the very gate which had been built should be named after Major Ali to recognise his sacrifice for the motherland, reported Dunya News.
Talking to media outside Parliament House, Rehman Malik questioned if there was any border in the world without immigration gates. Afghanistan had also destroyed immigration gate at Chaman border and Major Ali Jawad’s martyrdom should be raised in United Nations (UN), Rehman Malik said.
Former Interior Minister also added that Mullah Mansour’s death in Pakistan proved that enemies had ambitions against Pakistan. Afghanistan needed to provide a solid answer on diplomatic and border management levels and borders needed to be secured in order to obtain positive and effective results of Operation Zarb-e-Azb, Rehman added.
