MULTAN (Dunya News) – A seven-year-old boy jumped into canal after being afraid of oncoming speedy bus in Multan’s Head Nobahar, reported on Wednesday.
According to details, the eyewitnesses said that the victim Afzal was standing with his sister near the canal when he suddenly became scared of oncoming speedy bus and jumped into the stream.
Afzal was living with his family in huts near Vehari Chowk in Multan.
Getting the information about the incident, the rescue personnel arrived at the scene and launched operation to recover the child.
Meanwhile, the locals have demanded safety arrangements around the canal to prevent further mishaps.
