Summary Reduction in prices in Ramazan Bazaars must be ensured to facilitate them: Citizens
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Instead of providing economic relief to people, fruit vegetables, and other edibles’ price reached a new height in different cities of the country following the month of Ramazan as lemons were sold at Rs 230 per kg while dates Rs 320 per kg, reported Dunya News.
Other than lemons, capsicum and spinach all other items were not available in the markets of Lahore. The citizens who visited Ramazan Bazaar stated that there was no significant difference in prices as compared to general market rate.
100pc increase in Irani dates price also disappointed citizens of Quetta and were with the view that reduction in prices in Ramazan Bazaars must be ensured to facilitate them.
