FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Despite of government’s claims of no loadshedding in Ramazan, Faisalabad went through unannounced power outages on first Ramazan.

Drenched in sweat, elders and children ate Sehari while sitting on the entrance of their house.
Women were also frustrated as no water was available due to the power cut.
Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz on Monday had directed his office to ensure no load shedding during Iftar and Sehar timings in the month of Ramazan.
In a statement released by PM house, Nawaz Sharif had directed Ministry of Water and Power to provide uninterrupted electricity supply during Sehar and Iftar timings and rural and urban areas should not be discriminated in this regard.
PM directed his office to strictly monitor the timings of power outrage so that people could easily observe fast without suffering from any sort of distress.
