LAHORE (Dunya News) – Ramazan moon is likely to be sighted in Pakistan on Monday while the committee would meet today (Sunday) in Saudi Arabia to sight the moon.

According to sources, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is scheduled to meet on Monday, June 5, for sighting the crescent of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak 1437 A.H.

Ramazan moon sighting ends in controversy every year with several areas going against the official announcement but this time, the government is making efforts so the whole country starts Islamic month Ramazan on the same day.

On the other hand, the government has also ordered to avoid power outage during Sehri and Iftar timings in Ramazan.

Meanwhile, the Muslims across the world have geared up preparations for the sacred month with the arrangements for special prayers.
