Summary Father of 2-year-old 'abandoned kid' Abdullah agreed to take back his son.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Dunya News efforts were paid off on Thursday when father of 2-year-old abandoned kid Abdullah was found in Khanewal. Abdullah was handed over to the officials at the Edhi Centre in Karachi on May 25.
69-year-old Chaudhry Iqbal, who lives in Khanewal, also expressed his willingness to take back his son.
On the other hand, police have arrested a woman whose husband handed over Abdullah to officials at Edhi Centre in Clifton area of Karachi.
Rizwan left Abdullah in Edhi Centre on May 25.
Both have been identified by the CCTV footage shared by Edhi officials with the police. The couple told Edhi officials that they found the child in Do Darya area.
The woman is under investigation and police is trying to know the whereabouts of Rizwan from her. She told the officials that Rizwan was in Karachi till the previous day and was in a bid to leave the city.
