Summary Dust raising winds are forecast by the department in Mirpurkhas, Sukkur among other areas
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Light rains are expected in the provincial capital, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Islamabad among other areas on Tuesday according to Pakistan Meteorological Department.
The weather forecast department stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Peshawar will also see light rain among other isolated places.
Mid-night breeze beat the heat in different parts of Punjab however, plains in Sindh are witnessing hot weather today.
On the other hand, dust raising winds are forecast by the department in Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, Hyderabad, Quetta, Shaheed Benazirabad and Multan, Bahawalpur, DG Khan divisions.
The heat-stricken masses in several cities of Punjab took a sigh of relief at the start of the week as extremely hot weather became pleasant after rain on Sunday night.
Several feeders tripped in the provincial capital due to rain, plunging most parts of the city into darkness. Strong winds also uprooted number of trees in the city.
Rain was also reported from Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Daska, Muridke and some other cities of Punjab. Federal capital, Islamabad also received heavy rain.
