KARACHI (Dunya News) – Target killing re-emerges in Karachi as four persons, including a police sub-inspector, were killed in acts of violence in different parts of the city on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, some unidentified persons opened fire in Malir’s Jafar Tayyar area and killed two persons and injuring another. The in charge of Emergency Ward in Jinnah hospital, Dr Seemi Jamali, the deceased were identified as Asim Hussain and Ameer Haider while the injured was identified as Hassan.
Police and Rangers officials have recovered shells of 9MM from the spot. Meanwhile, a spokesman of MQM has informed that Asim Hussain was an activist on MQM.
Firing incident in Mominabad area of Orangi Town also claimed life of a man named Umar Khan.
On the other hand, dead body of police sub-inspector Salim Tanoli was recovered from a flat near Nagan Chaurangi. Salim Tanoli was currently working in Traffic Police Driving License Branch. Salim Tanoli’s body was recovered from his wife’s flat.
