Summary Wali Muhammad's passport and identification card were renewed in 2005

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has issued summons to District Coordination Officer (DCO) Hafiz Mohammad Tahir, who verified the nationality of Wali Muhammad who got killed in a US drone strike in Nushki on Sunday, to be a part of the ongoing investigation of the incident, reported Dunya News on Wednesday.

Orders of the investigation of the incident have been issued by Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan. The scope of the investigation shall be enhanced against those who are involved in issuing an identification card and passport to Wali Muhammad. DCO Tahir, whilst he was appointed in Chaman, gave verification of Wali’s Pakistani nationality for the issuing of his passport.

Tehsildar Mohammad Rafique Tareen who verified Wali Muhammad’s National Identification Card form was arrested on Tuesday from Quetta.

Wali Muhammad’s passport and identification card were renewed in 2005. Action against DCO Hafiz Tahir and Tehsildar Rafique Tareen has been taken on the basis of the data provided by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
