Summary PPP chairman said people of Pakistan should condemn this act of federal govt
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan People Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated that the federal government is creating electricity shortfall on purpose to take revenge from the public, adding that the intention behind this is to divert attention from the Panama Leaks issue, reported Dunya News on Tuesday.
Bilawal has stated that the Nawaz government has paid billions in regards to the circular debts, adding that in various cases the Independent Power Producers (IPPs) have been given additional amounts but the public has yet not been provided any relief as the artificial load shedding issue is being bestowed upon the consumers.
PPP chairman said that it is the government s responsibility to provide electricity to the people whereas the current government is targeting the people through fake electricity breakdowns and unannounced load shedding. He further added that the people of Pakistan should condemn this act of the federal government.
Bilawal said that Sindh is producing surplus electricity but the Nawaz government is responsible for unbearable load shedding in the entire province.
