LAHORE (Web Desk) – In another step to ensure implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP), the Punjab Government has introduced a new system under which the auto dealers will be solely responsible to get vehicles of their customers registered, Dunya News reported.
According to a new plan prepared by Chief Minister’s Special Monitoring Unit, new vehicles will not be allowed on the roads until number plates are issued to the owners inside the showrooms.
So far, ten major auto dealers have submitted registration applications. They will be able to provide cars’ number plates swiftly to the customers.
These measures will help the authorities to curb usage of fake number plates.
