Summary Reportedly, the targeted car has been completely destroyed after the rocket attack.

KOCHAKI (Dunya News) – At least two people were killed in a rocket attack near Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Kochaki area today (Sunday).

According to details, a rocket was fired on a car heading to Quetta from Taftan. The mishap left two dead who have been identified as driver Mohammad Azam and Walli Mohammad.

According to initial investigation reports of the incident, the vehicle of a private company was targeted by a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) launcher. Proper planning was done prior to conducting the strike. The car was heading towards Quetta from Taftan when it was targeted at Kochaki.

Mohammad Qasim, brother of Mohammad Azam, while conversing with Dunya News said that his brother worked as a taxi driver for 9 years. He added that he received a call on Saturday that the car has burnt.

Dunya News has received copies of Walli Mohammad s passport and identification card whereas his residential flat in Karachi has also been located.

Post-mortem of both Walli Mohammad, Mohammad Azam underwent in Quetta. According to the post-mortem report of the dead bodies, the death of both occurred as a result of burning of explosive materials. Significant damage occurred to the head and upper-portion of Walli Mohammad whereas Azam’s dead body was burnt badly. Pieces of metal have also been found in the dead bodies.

Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) samples of the both deceased ones have also been obtained.
