LAHORE (DUnya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Saturday suspended its Member Sindh Assembly Irum Farooq for 3 months for violating the party discipline. Farooqi responded to the suspension in a tweet saying that the party has lost its sincere political worker.
Farooqi further added that she respects the MQM chief and those members who are true to the cause.

According to MQM’s statement, the decision was made after the party demanded a detailed explanation from Farooqi over the matter. MQM chief Altaf Hussain confirmed the decision of the Rabita Committee. The committee suspended her for her peace message.
