Summary Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor says army soldiers made countless sacrifices fighting war against terrorists
SWAT (Dunya News) – Cheques were distributed among the landowners who gave away their land for the construction of an army camp. General Commanding Officer Major General Asif Ghafoor stated on the occasion that terrorists in Swat were defeated with the help of the local people, reported Dunya News on Saturday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) department, Major General Asif said that all extremists present in Swat shall be wiped out, adding that favourable results are being obtained as a result of Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
He said that the fight against the terrorists shall continue as long as the terrorists don t meet their fate. He added that the soldiers of Pakistan army have made countless sacrifices while fighting against the terrorists in Swat.
