Summary Punjab government has already been drafting agricultural policy: Punjab CM
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif met Farmer Union’s delegation convened by Chaudhry Anwar while it has been decided that committee would be formed to draft agricultural policy and solve farmers’ problems with their consultation, reported Dunya News.
The meeting will be held on Friday where new agricultural policy will be drafted through consultation with Farmer’s Union.
On this occasion, Shehbaz Sharif said that he has acknowledged farmers’ reservations and their problems while small farmer has been buried under so many problems.
He said that priors farmers’ interest and would defend it at on every front. He said that Punjab government has already been drafting agricultural policy and several meetings have been held in this regard.
