Summary PPP chairman says people of Sindh receiving increased electricity bills
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto lambasted the federal government on Tuesday by stating that it is punishing the people of Sindh through increased hours of unannounced load shedding, reported Dunya News.
PPP chairman criticised the federal government on accounts of increased load shedding in Sindh. He said that the federation is responsible for bestowing the curse of load shedding upon the province, further adding that K-Electric, Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) and Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) are involved in long hours of load shedding varying between 16 to 24 hours.
Bilawal said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif s government has been unable to fulfil the electricity demands of the country. He stated that the people of Sindh are receiving increased electricity bills and accused the federal government of adopting a biased attitude in this regards with the people of Sindh.
