Summary Imran Khan owned offshore companies when people did not even know how 'offshore' was spelled: Asif

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Talking to media after Parliament session on Monday, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif had explained the case before parliament but Opposition had nothing to tell except lies. He said that the opposition avoided to debate and walked out of Parliament, reported Dunya News.

Talking to the media, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was the most experienced person with respect to offshore companies.

"Imran Khan owned offshore companies when people did not even know how to spell ’offshore’", he added. No one would have ever known about Niazi Services Limited if the case would not have surfaced and gained media attention, Asif said.

He accused Imran Khan of investing donations and charity money in international investments and that the story would not end there but will reach its logical end, he added.

Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique said on the occasion that few opposition parties showed least interest and irresponsible attitude in the house. Today, opposition walked out when PM addressed the parliament over their demand, he said. Government also agreed to provide enough time to opposition to state its view, he added.

He expressed disappointment and said that opposition had been hijacked by four men and that PM had answered all 7 questions put forward by the opposition.
