PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Lady health workers on Monday staged a protest in Peshawar for the acceptance of their demands.
According to sources, lady health workers demanded to make them permanent while they also raised voice against non-payment of salaries.
The workers gathered outside district health office and chanted slogans against the local administration. They also threatened to boycott upcoming polio campaign to be started from Monday in the metropolis.
The protesting staffers called off the strike after their union president Ayesha Asad told them that health ministry has issued notification pertaining to make them permanent.
