HYDERABAD (Dunya News) - Rangers on late Saturday have arrested as many as three members of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) zonal committee in Hyderabad.
The security personal raided the houses of zonal committee’s members Syed Sohail Mashhahdi, Rafique Ajmeri and Raheel Fahim on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday and took them into custody.
According to sources, Sohail Mashhadi was detained from Siddique Plaza Unit 8, Rafique Ajmeri from Resham Bazar while Raheel Fahim was held from his home in Latifabad No 9.
The officers have shifted the nabbed workers to some undisclosed location for further investigation.
On the other hand, a case has also been registered against at least ten MQM leaders including Farooq Sattar, Waseem Akhtar, Khalid Maqbool and Kanwar Naveed for inciting citizens during May 12 sit-in at Numaish Chowrangi.
